Week 15!

Alright class, this is the last week for the blog. I'm a little sad that it's coming to an end - I know a lot of you didn't like this project but I thought it was wonderful and I feel like I really got to know you all a lot better through your posts. This week we have the last 5 posts so make sure you respond to all of them by noon next Sunday and then you're done.

For future reference, I won't delete this blog. I'm going to leave it up because it's interesting and I don't want you all to feel like all the time you put in was wasted.

You've all done wonderfully on the blog and I'm very proud of you!

Week 14! -updated-

I don't know about all of you but this semester is flying by! Heck, this whole year flew by for me. Anyway, we are in to week 14, we've got 3 more people to post. On a side note: I need to know if you guys want to take the last 3 weeks of people (this weeks 3, next weeks 4, and the last weeks 3) and combine them so that this week we have 5 posts and next week we have 5 posts and then we're done with the blogs or do you want to do them up until the last week of classes? Leave a comment here if you want it to change and have your input in by say, Tuesday before class so I can announce it then.

Update as of Monday: It looks like a lot of you want to do the five posts for the next two weeks but we'll still wait until the end of the night before deciding.

One other thing - don't post anything more about summer plans. I'm not saying summer can't be the theme to your post but we've had a lot of "What are your plans for the summer" type posts and that's getting boring and it's pointless to keep reposting.

Tuesday Update:
It looks like a lot of you want to just get the blogs done so unless anyone says otherwise during class, here is this week and next weeks schedule.

Week 14:
Robert
Blair
Monil
Dave
Kevin

Week 15
Jon
Bonnie
Kelly
Ashley
Arjeanette

Reminder:

I just want to remind you all that 3-4 people per week (going in alphabetical order from my roster) and doing the main posts. Every student must respond to each post. The original posts must be up no later than noon on Thursday and responses need to be up by noon on Sunday. If you have any questions about when it is your week check out the post from Week 10. Please also note that I backdated this so people wouldn't miss the posts that are up this week.

Week 10

Welcome back class! I hope you all had a wonderful break and are ready to get back to reading, writing, and learning. This post is being put up early so I don't forget to post something for you all to write about - and though I'm sure none of you are checking the page out over break, I figure by Sat or Sun some of you might get working on some homework and see what is going on.

As mentioned earlier, I'm going to switch the blog a little bit. There are 23 of you in the class and 7 weeks left in the semester. So going in the order you appear on my roster, 3-4 of you will be responsible for posting a blog topic each week. That means there will be 3-4 different topics for your classmates to read and respond to (in the comments section!!). I want interesting and inventive topics and if they incorporate some of the stuff from the presentations before spring break that's even better! You need to have a topic that your classmates will be able to talk about, ask questions, and further discuss. I know this sounds hard but I have faith in you and think it will get easier as the semester goes on.

The 3-4 students responsible must have their posts up by Thursday at noon. If you do not get your post up before then you get no credit for the week. Everyone else needs to respond to all posts by noon on Sunday. If you have any questions leave them here or ask in class next week.

The first group to go will be:
Brock
Holly
Jessica
Jenna

Weeks 11:
Kyle
Steve
Jordan

Week 12:
Christine
Paul
Zach

Week 13:
Chet
Sarah
Natalie

Week 14:
Robert
Blair
Monil

Week 15:
Dave
Kevin
Jon
Bonnie

Week 16:
Kelly
Ashley
Arjeanette

Don't forget, even if it isn't your week to post the main topic you still have to respond to all three or four posts to get credit. Missing one or two blogs is okay but if you have only done one or two your grade will suffer at the end of the semester! This should be an easy 100 points for all of you. The majority of you all are doing great and keep it up!

See you all bright-and-early on Tuesday!
